Kate Moross Isometric Tee
“Life is work and work is life. I do not even attempt to separate the two, sometimes I can’t remember whether my friends are clients or my clients are friends, it’s all blended together. My social life and my work life blend seamlessly, in fact, most of the time, I forget I am even working.”
When you look at the client list of the talented Kate Moross – Simian Mobile Disco, La Roux, Telepathe, Les Petits Pitous, Heartsrevolution, Metronomy, Midnight Juggernauts – you’ll find it hard not have a wee pang of jealously. But clearly this designing Londoner is no slacker: just take a look at her busting-at-the-seams Flickr page. Or her commercial projects commissioned by big-wigs Topshop, Nike, Zune and Virgin. Or her label Isomorph Records. Let’s just get it straight: this bad ass chick does far more than tees.
Dominant themes of nesting triangles and other tessellating polygons, stark black & whites with a bright sputter of color – these tees are a contradiction of in-your-face and classy. Check out the online shop (which also lists totes, badges, posters and other standard shwag for purchase) or her selection at Big Cartel. She’s got a few other tees floating around the interwebs (T-Post too!) but you can find further details in the Work and Play sections of her site.
