Music producer and My Ninja! founder Peter Hong was kind enough to hook Lika and me up with some super-fun tees during the Map the Soul show at Irving Plaza last week. Thing is, I can’t seem to stop wearing it, therefore, I figured it was time to spread the gospel (and get some more colors). Unlike so many products out there that feel over-produced, over-conceptualized and under-appealing, the simplicity of this brand is what hits the spot. The philosophy behind the slogan is equally unfussy: “My Ninja! [...is] a statement that allows individuals to connect along the constant cultural blending our generation faces”. At the moment, you can buy the original My Ninja! and the LA Ninja! styles. Not to worry though, Peter hinted that a NYC Ninja! was in the works and I’m sure other cities are on his radar as well so keep an eye out. Hop over to the site and get yours!
