Your Eyes Lie No Ananglo Tee

YourEyesLie No Ananglo Tee

From music videos like Animal Collective’s Brothersport and Bat for Lashes’ Prescilla, to the fashion collections of Bang Bang and April 77, the style and pop worlds do seem to hold Southwest Chic close to their hearts. Not complaining: as a child of desert-loving parents, I grew up roadtripping through New Mexico, rocked endless pairs of moccasins, hid out in our backyard teepee, and orchestrated intricate dances with my rain stick. Hence the draw to this selection by YourEyesLie. The lightheartedly mystic graphic tees (infused with Miami Vice colorways!) are available at YourEyesLie’s online shop for around £20 ($33). But the t-shirt treasure trove doesn’t stop there… More coming up in part 2 of today’s T-Shirt Tuesday!

“I suppose we were conscious of wanting to create a brand that didn’t take itself too seriously: like a geek with big dance moves and a broad grin, we’re a label that just gets on with enjoying itself, leaving the pigeon-holing to people with time for it. We take pleasure in esoteric ideas, stupid puns and that perfect fitting kitten-soft t-shirt that is just right when you’ve only five minutes to get ready but still want to be the bad-ass of the ball, and is still just right when you’re shuffling to the greasy spoon for a workmans’ breakfast 14 hours later..” — Ben of YourEyesLie
